The Story Orchestra: The Sleeping Beauty

The Sleeping Beauty ballet was first performed in 1890, decades before the Disney rendition—but of course the fairy tale is much older than that (approximately 14th C. old) and yet it somehow continues to remain fresh for each generation of children.

This lavishly illustrated rendition comes with 10 audio excepts from Tchaikovsky’s ballet and has been beloved for the past week in our home. Indeed all books in this series are worth experiencing first hand.
